timo tollki 即是乐队的名子，也是主唱兼吉他手Timo Tolkki 的名字．可能大部分人认为timo tollki 只是人名。
Timo Tolkki，1966年3月3日生于芬兰的Klaukkala，是芬兰首席古典旋律金属大老Stratovarius乐队的当家吉他手,其个人风格深受 Ritchie Blackmore、Randy Rhoads 等前辈的影响。他以浓厚的古典音乐背景为其基础，并以巴洛克调式音阶理论编写乐句。2002 年发表第二张个人作品 “Hymn To Life” 《Are you the One》选自他的第二张专辑，这首歌是荷兰哥特厄运乐队within temptation主唱sharon den adel与timo tolkki合作的结晶。
